David has led Director and Executive commercial roles in the technology, media, services and public sectors for fifteen years, building on two decades of senior military experience, including combat and peace-keeping operations. He works with Boards, cross-functional teams and high potential individuals to design strategies, shape change and improve brand-critical operations

David identifies patterns, themes and material factors that refocus understanding and motivate people to give discretionary effort. He merges that with cost reduction programmes, post-acquisition integration and business development to target client and market growth

As a Chief Sustainability Officer, he won the Queen’s Enterprise Award; as an Operations Director, he ran Sky's customer supply chain and integrated Amstrad's manufacturing operations; as a Solutions Director he drove double-digit technology sales growth across Europe. His unique mix of perspectives, skills and industry knowledge identify what is likely to succeed in complex organisations, especially under external scrutiny and reputational challenge

With an MBA and an award-winning MA in International Strategy, David has coached, created collateral, led workshops and shaped programmes in his role as independent business advisor and associate – helping companies to get more out of their projects, teams and people
